The Gorilla’s Guide to Good Living - By Andrew Y. Grant

Currently CEO of The Grant Leisure Group, Andrew Grant has held executive positions at the San Diego Zoo and Wild Animal Park (Deputy Director) and Managing Director of The London Zoo. Through  his involvement with these institutions, Grant has worked with  some of the world's most important zoologists, conservationists and primatologists. As with many, Grant has always held a particular fascination with primates, and, specifically, the gorilla subspecies. This interest formed the motivation for writing Nearly Human. Grant has also held executive positions at Busch Gardens and Universal Studios Tours. He is a graduate of University of Oregon, and was included in Who's Who in 2000.

He has appeared as an expert witness on numerous projects in the United States and overseas. Andy is also a former owner/operator of the Blackpool Zoo (Britain).

As president and CEO of Grant Leisure, Andy heads an international consulting company that works with many of the world's most prominent attractions, zoos, and aquariums.

He currently lives in Montecito, CA.
